Hey I need to get a ITR sway bar and other related parts and I am looking for the subframe backing plates. I know there are a few different types and I was wondering who has them and which is better and finally how can I get a set for myself.

What about Beaks? His kit looks okay and he has everything needed as I am lazy and don't want to order from several different places.
Most people have Bret's (BSQ) kit, mostly because he's well known around the boards and posts here often (and am sure will chime in soon!) It's also cheaper and does the job.
But I have to mention Beaks' kit as well, because he doesn't post anymore (at least, I don't think), just to give him a fair chance at some business also.
Haven't heard of anyone complaining about either one, so the choice is up to you. I have neither, so I can't comment personally on the BSQ or Beaks. (I ended up getting the Neuspeed bar right when the ITR reinforcement plates just came out
) My friend has the Beaks kit though, and it does its job.

I made my own plate, basically taking the design of BSQ, get a metal plate and dremel, you;re done
it's been on the car for over a year, no rust, no tear on the subframe...

For some reason, the ITR sway I just installed with the BSQ kit only has about 1mm clearance and it is hitting the axleback piping of my ITR muffler.
Does anyone else have this problem. On certain situations, they make contact and makes the MOST irritating rattling noise.

Glad to see that you're doing the mod. Great mod for the price....well great mod regardless of the price! Like everyone has said, both are really nice. I have the Beaks and the quality is second to none! It reinforces the outside and the inside of the subframe vs. the BSQ which I believe only reinforces the outside. Also, the Beaks kit looks really nice and the quality seems great, but BSQ does know his stuff. It's up to you and how much you can afford. Just glad you're getting the mod.
