Default itr sway bar vs. aftermarket sway bar

what do you guys think is better an itr sway bar or an aftermarket. i heard suspention techniques makes a sway bar.
i bought a irt sway bar with the beaks srk but one of my friends said it is a waist of money. and i will say anyone thinking of buying a srk from him, his service is the best. i emailed him and the next morning he returned my email. that is great so mad props to him.
i will need some intall pics for later in the week. i already have the sway bar and other stock stuff i am just waiting on the srk and i will be ready to do it so if you have any pics or suggestions i will owe a great debt to you .
thanks

after seeing pictures of torn subframes, the beaks kit is cheap insurance. Besides, its hold the ITR sway bar to the correct offset so that the ends links are more perpendicular to the ground like they should be.

The comptech setup is really nice too.

I too am waiting on a complete itr sway kit with srk from will. Can't wait. (he was nice enough to source all the parts for me)

And the customer service IS TOP NOTCH. you would think you were buying a car off of will with the service you get

The Suspension Tech. one has a strut bar built in
I think you can get some Mugen brackets from kingmotorsports for like 25 to reinforce the endlinks. How much is the Beaks kit?

the beaks kit is 65.

The mugen plates dont reinforce no where near as much as the beaks kit. And I have seen broken mugen plates with matching torn subframes

If it's not too expensive for you--the Comptech Sway/Tie is extremely well built.

Can anyone help me out, I'm in need of the beaks kit for my EJ with itr rear sway. Where can I get it, and from who? Number, website, email? Thanks. By the way what does (snk) stand for?

Hey, before you go happy on this guy, learn to spell. (of course)

"Yes this bar will help with body roll." Works just as well, it won't discourage someone from learning, and you don't look like a *****.

Remember, everyone starts somewhere.

Pic of ITR/Beaks SRK as requested.

Does it (the bar) help with body roll?? Absolutely. I wouldn't do it as a first mod, but it provides a perfect balance to where the car will rotate nicely when asked.

Thanks for props guys! For info, please visit www.geocities.com/BeaksProducts (I should have my own domain name up soon).

Very nice pics, Steve. Is that the lower tie-bar upgrade kit at work with the Neuspeed tie-bar? Any close up shot you can share with me?

Actually Wil/guys, that is my own custom rig that I fabricated before the upgrade came out Same idea though....longer bolt and a stand off. Works great.

My bolts were special ordered from Germany and cost like $30 for 4!!!!

I'll get some close ups later this week....new job starting Monday!

Wil: I wanted to install my Benen rear lower tie bar tomorrow but I have already installed my rear ITR bar with both the Prothane and your Beaks kit.
The Benen bar dips and seems to hang lower than Steve's Neuspeed bar immediately after the bolt holes.
Will I need longer bolts for the Benen bar to fit or will it just go on without a problem?

TIA

Without unbolting everything, you can put the Benen bar up against the LCA pivots to see if the bar will clear. I've seen the Benen bar design and some rough dimension of it. It looks like it's gonna be tight and I actually recommended to someone who was gonna do the same to just put in the longer bolts (NOT that I want to make a sale since I don't on the upgrade kits). But check first. If you need the tie-bar upgrade, let me know.

Hey Wil,

I really like your kit. Now I want to go bigger. Do you think a 26mm Mugen ITR rear bar will be fine on my 99Si? Anyone?

Thanks,
CB

I used to have a Neuspeed bar on my car, but when I added the Beaks kit, I couldnt get it to fit. I thought by putting in the longer bolts on the rear lower bar would flex, defeating the purpose. What did I do? I bought the spoon kit. It stands off from the body enough to clear the kit.
