HELP. i think i short cicuited my low beam in my headlight.
okay, well i just installed my HID kit and i strapped all the wires in and everything was okay. but then i decided to adjust the ballast on the driver side so i ended up cuttin off the zip-tie that was keeping the wires away from the alternator belt. well i took it for a spin without realizing the wires weren't tied down, then as i was driving the HID's started to flicker a few times whenever i would hit a bump after about 5-8 minutes my driver side light went out. i pulled over to check if everything was okay and found that one of the wires got melted a bit by the alternator belt and i guess that caused the light to go out. after all of this, i took out the HID kit and put my halogen bulbs back on and found that i my DRIVER side headlight was still out. could i have caused a short in my harness? or blown a fuse? any help would be appreciated.
*the wire that was melted a bit wasnt melted all the way through the coil, its just exposing the coil in the wire.
-sorry if its confusing-
