Default HID help

i bought a phillips hid kit and i hooked up all the wiring but for some reason the hid bulbs only came with a 2 prong plug - my stock harness has 3 prong plug. when i hooked everything up the lights wouldn't come on - has anyone else had this problem? or know a quick fix?

your stock harness has 3 prongs because the bulbs are dual filament for both low and high beam (plus ground). You will not have high beam w/ HID (unless you got a kit that moves the bulb or the shield).

You need to wire up the low beam power wire and the ground wire to the ballast.

on my ek the black is for the high beam. figure out what goes to waht with the 2 wires left and our set. make sure you check the under dash fuse to make sure you haven;t blown them. upgrade to at least 20 while you are at it. good luck
