then just mount this in your bumper

do fasteners like these hold up to all the vibrations, etc?
do the 710-71370 springs go with the 710-71552 brackets?
I have had this problem plague me forever and this looks like a nice fix.

yes they work well. just have to get the spring tension correct, so the fastener gets tight. if its loose or whatever, it wont work well.
as for XX springs with XX brackets, i cant tell you. when i order stuff like this i always tell them i need XX brackets or XX fasteners & springs etc to match..
it also keeps the bumper nice and tight to the fender. help get rid of that ugly gap...

for the spring tension is it just as simple as fooling around with it when its almost assembled to determine the correct tension?
when installing, I take it that you mount the bracket first, push the bumper flush against the fender, and mark the back side through the bracket?

i think they might sell a "smaller kit" which comes with 2 tabs,2 springs, and 2 buttons.. that one i posted up higher have 10 of each, which is simply way too many.

hooray for Dzus fasteners. It's pronounced "Zues" too, i had to look it up online, i was sick of being unsure of how to say it.
