Default My shift linkage went...BYE BYE no connection to tranny.

So, the bolt fell out. and it has no connection to tranny at all.

Can i buy a new bolt.

Or should i get a new shift rod.

Pic is not of the one on my car, got the pic of eGay

Red Circle represents the linkage joint that has no bolt.

Blue represents where the spring is pretty much holding up the linkage so it wont fall on the ground

Green is the side is whats not connected to anything.

Any bolt that can be threaded with a nut at the end should work.

the spring that is inside of there is ruined. So, instead of ghetto rigging it, id rather buy one in good condition. So, i have a sense of asurance that this won't happen again.

BTW-Its some sort of pin not a bolt. Just incase no has ever looked at theirs close enuf.

yea. mine would act like it didnt want to go into gear. and i would try to force it anyways, cuhz i knew i had it in the right spot, and it would make a slight grinding noise. not like when u dont push in the clutch or anything like that. BUt, I am goin to pull the shift rod tomorrow. So, my new baby will be back on the road. I got it out of the shop for a check up and timing belt replace, and have it out for one week. drive it for 4 days and this **** happens. I have a feeling this car is gonna break my wallet in future repairs and modifications.

Got it fixed today temporarily til i get my new shift rod in from Honda Dealership. Used a Bolt, Lock Nuts and Washers. And, found out I have Unorthodox Racing Pulleys. Soo, thats less money I have to spend in the long run.
