Default Difference between 92-95 lx ex si clusters

Searched already couldn't find answer. I am looking to buy a cluster with a tach for my 93 civic cx and wanted to know the differences between the lx, ex, and si clusters. Are the redlines at different points? Does the cluster look different for the lx because the cluster is for a four door? Any help would be appreciated.

EX and Si are the same, except EXs can come in automatic. The LX looks like the EX/Si but with a lower redline. To best suit your engine, I'd say a VX cluster has a close redline (6,000 rpms).

Coupe, sedan, and hatchback clusters all look the same, except for redline and auto/man.

The redline on an LX cluster is about 6400 while the redline on the EX/Si cluster is about 7200. Other than minor style differences they are identical. On the back though the LX cluster has an NS marking (Neuspeed) while the EX/Si has an NSII marking.

Al the same lights are on them both. Just like I said, minor styling differences. The text and pictures look like an older style on the LX plus they have a rougher looking texture while the EX has smoother looking texture lights.

The lights just look older on the LX even though they are from the same year.

Also I have an LX CLuster sitting around if you wanna buy it. I have no need for it now. Won't fit in my ek.

NS doesn't stand for Neuspeed. It stands for Nisson.

Haha, that's what I meant. I was thinking Nisson, as in our brakes.

Plus the VX cluster has a shift light.

Ahhh so Nippon Seiki yes that's it. Sorry a while back while my brother and I were working on cluster in my old car he said it was neuspeed so I didn't question it cause he is supposed to be smart with that stuff. I guess I'll have to tell him that he is wrong.

Since were on the subject, are all the 92-95 civic clear plastic cluster covers interchangable? I may be buying a si cluster with scratches and want to know if I can use my cx plastic cover? I searched for this topic and got different answeres.

They are the same. The only difference is probably the cruise control or shift light icons on either one of them.

Also some have ABS lights that I didn't need...I have the extra EX with 7200 redline, no abs, no auto. Matches my stock Si perfectly
I hit the jackpot at the yard one day. I think I had three, but not enough $. Only one like this,^^^ though.

The clear cover and bezel are glued together.
