Default Motor Knocking at 2100 RPM's and up

So ive read all the accord forms about this problem but now i have to ask what else could be wrong I have a 1990 ex and something's knocking in the head i have tried adjusting the valves and did a compression test. What could it be; im running full sythetic oil and not burning anything nor is any coolant disapearing. Replaced the Raditor, trany, distributor, wires, plugs, and have a short ram intake with all the vaccuem lines hooked up along with headers. if anyone has any ideas or lives near milwaukee let me know.

no so much. If it's slight it will just make noise and you will notice a loss of power. But if you have adjusted the calves and they are correct that makes me think rod knock

I use 93 octane only and I noticed that when the motor is cold its fine only when it heats up does it start it. could I have over tighten the valves, it was the first time I did a valve adjustment but when i did it on 2 out of 4 cylinders there was no drag with the feeler gauge on both intake and exhaust those were the ones i fixed the rest were fine ?
