Default WHAT RODS TO US IN LS BUILD

hey guys i am building an ls for boost and was wondering if there are any stock rods to use in an ls for boost b/c i have heard that ls rods are really weak. or should i just buy eagle h beams

eagle rods are cheap insurance. get them.

well like they were sauing eagles are good just make sure you get the big bolt ones but if you want the best go with manley

It only depends on what your HP goals are. Ive seen LS's get into 230s with stock internals on boost. Although if your going over 250 i would upgrade to the H beams and if your going higher then 500 go with Pauter/Manely/Crower/Cunningham/etc.

in the end if your useing stock sleves thats where its ganna pop , any after market rod is going to be fine

thanks for the help guys, i realy want to sleeve the block but i might just turbo this thing and start buildin a hella good block while i run that one

just dont go boost crazy untill you have a semi built bottom end , thats how everyone ***** ther **** up or the have a bad tune

I'd definately recommend eagle rods though..
they make a very high quality product

Yes Eagle is a good basic upgrade for any turbo motor.

Of course the higher end brands are for more boost and power

Don't forget about Carrillo Rods.. the strongest out there on the market.
