Here are my CEL codes. What are the possible solutions to get my car starting again?
First off, I have a 1999 Civic EX. My car died about 3 weeks ago while I was driving. I was going about 25mph and all of a sudden I felt this jerk..........then the car died! I rotated the crank with the valve cover off to see if it was the timing belt........and it's not that. I replaced all the spark plugs..........and it's not that either. My CEL codes are:
1 O2A - Oxygen sensor #1
9 CYP - cylinder sensor
71 random misfire cylinder 1
73 random misfire cylinder 3
What can I try/do to get the damn car running again? Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions!

To get your car running again, you need to replace the CYP sensor. That is located in your distributor..
I would try salvaging it from another distributor. Or just replacing the whole distributor depending on where you find one...
The cost of the new CYP sensor is more than just replacing the whole distributor as a unit.
Best advice: Replace the distributor.
The cylinder misfire is probably a result of the bad CYP sensor..
The O2 sensor code, either a break in the wiring, or a bad O2 sensor.

When you say "distributor", do you mean the cap, rotor, and coil? Also, since I turned the crank to see if the timing belt was snapped do I have to return it back to TDC?

and no i dont think you should have to return it to tdc

Alright. So I replaced my distributor and reset my ECU. The damn car still won't start! The engine won't even turn over. It sounds like a drill when I try to start it. HELP!!!
