vafc to tune??
You can tune a car like that with that setup but it will have limits. Get rid of the chipped ecu because they throw way to much timing for a turbo car.
A chipped ecu advances the timing to much for a turbo car. To much timing will usually melt or pop things. More info would be needed about your setup to be able to tell you what to use.
well im kinda new to the whole honda thing but basically I have a gsr block, b16 head, ITR cams, and 2 1/2 inch exhaust. I was in the process of looking to a turbo kit and actually found one that came with everything except engine management. I had heard that u could tune a turbo set up like mine with an afc, but someone recommended that I use a chipped p28 as oppopsed to the p2p ecu(obd2 SI ECU) im using now.
i think using a stock p72 with a obd2-obd1 jumper harness would be best. Witha 255 intank and a set of 370 injectors you should be able to tune it to 10 psi with no prolem. What kind of turbo kit are you getting
im not sure, but the turbo is a turbonetics 60-1 I beleive. the other kit I was looking at was a revhard kit. they come with the usual manifold lines dp etc. im used to working on eclipses, hondas are so confusing!!! so u think a chipped p28 is a bad idea?? i just bought one like 2 days ago!!!

NO. When you filter out all the BS information Hondas aren't all that complicated either.
"Chipped" doesnt always mean that it's an ECU intended for an aggressive allmotor setup.
Take the top cover off of your ECU and look inside. Do a google search for "chipped honda" or whatever and compare.
There is a chance that the ECU is "socketed" (aka "chipped" for a lot of people) and that it's simply a matter of reprogramming it for a turbo setup.
Take a closeup pic of the 'chipping' area of the ECU and we can tell you if your ecu can be reprogrammed.
Hondata, Crome(Pro) and Neptune are all popular software interfaces to program the chip. If you know someone who knows their way around CromePro and your ecu turns out the be socketed than you're almost there.

2point2 is right, im runnin a turbo gsr tuned with a p28 ecu chipped runnin crome pro.. you guys are all worrying this guy for nothing, he bought a chipped p28ecu meaning it might be chipped to run a program such as crome or uberdata, doesnt always mean its an allmotor chip like skunk2 or anything. stop worrying the guy, lets find out what he's got then let him know what he's gotta do. lets start by havin u take a pic of the inside of the ecu where all the chips and stuff are, post it and i'll help u figure out if its the right type of chipped ecu or not.....hope this helps and goodluck
