p28 chipped w/ vafc or w/ hondata??
i have an EK with a b16 in it. right now its running with an obd2 ecu (the civic si one, i think). i want to switch it over to obd1 with a p28 ecu. but fir tuning, what would be better? chipping the ecu and getting an apex-i vafc or getting an s2oo hondata? ive heard the pros and cons of both so im not sure which to go with. anyone runnin with this set up? how are they working for you?

If you plan to go big then a chipped ecu would be better then VAFC.
if you want to keep your stock ecu and do little tune then VAFC will work.

i have an vafcII and i think im gonna ditch it (at least for now) for the hondata s200, vafc is nice but you just got to tune it, and if you dyno tune everything you might as well spend an extra $150 and get the s200 (my own personal opinion)

I have used both and prefer the chipped ECU. I don't like the fact that the VAFC tunes by altering the map signal which can advance timing. On FI applications, that is not too healthy.
