Default Tuning Help

I have a 1994 Del Sol Si with a low mile JDM D15B swap with a virgin P28 ECU. I know a guy selling the newest SAFC NEO which has a SAFC and VAFC used for $250.

I play to turbo over the summer, is this the tuning solution I need? I know nothing about tuning...

1. Don't buy the AFC
2. Read http://www.phearable.net/tech/efibeginnerguide.html
3. Start saving for your turbo setup.

Alright. Are you pushing me towards Phearable because you work there, or because it's the easiest/cheapest way. I read that page, very informative. So, it costs $80 to have my ECU chipped, is there a way to pay the $175 and get a 95 dollar CORE back when I send mine in to prevent downtime?

Chipping is the easiest way you could either use chrome which is free or get hondata or ectune which has more support and features. However I would just do whatever your tuner suggests.

In other words find someone who can tune the car and ask them what they would suggest. Either way it will have to be chipped and dont use that VAFC bullshit its 2010 not 1998.

We have some great tuners covering the Florida area. Get in touch with them and explore your options! You won't be disappointed.

in no way is phearable just saying buy there stuff. Mr.vega there is just helping you.
I have bought and talked with the guys there and have had nothing but great things to say. i had a s300 unit tuned to my individual description upon calling on a Wednesday and had it at my door friday morning with no xtra fee's in time for my saturday morning dyno time. on top of that it was about 200 bucks cheaper then any where else.

there is no reason to try and tune on a piggyback now days its not the 90's any more..

you will be very happy getting a actual basemap then having the heart ache of eventually hurting your motor, wallet and wasting your time with a vafc period.
