Hi

I have the Jspec B16a, can I use the 99-00 Si bearings?

um i thought all motors had diffrent rod bearings?
like if you compare 2 b16's they have diffrent bearings
maybe im wrong.
happened before (need sleep, tired.)

Just read the codes stamped in the rods and crank and block to get the correct bearings from Honda Parts.

If you have no clue what I'm talking about, buy a Helms.

or you could plasti gadge it and see what bearsing might give better (bigger) oil clearances

1st gen b16a and b16a2/3 use different bearings, i pretty sure sir2 b16's use the us spec bearings though.........b18a/b and b20b/z are the same but will not fit vtec motors, b18c/1 and b18c5 are also the same but do do fit b16's.

im bring this back from the dead. im almost done with my mtor and i needed some bearings i have a b18c1 with eagle rods and wisco pistons 81.5 and i check with acrua and got the part number and i called honda and gave them the part number and honda told me the part number cross reference with the part number from acura and the parts guy at honda said it would work . but he's just a parts guy. so want do you'll think i do know that there different color codes . if anyone could please help me out asap thank you very much.
