Hey people I really need your help,

I am about to purchase a flywheel and narrow it down to this one.
I just got 2 questions before I spend $200 and this thing.

Is this made out of Chromoly?

Is Prostreetonline.com the best place to buy this flywheel? As in best value?

applications and very quick throttle response, and slightly heavier StreetLite for street and drag racing vehicles which may require more inertia. i have and use the ACT flywheel.. IMO.. i wouldnt use any lighten flywheel it wasnt chromoly.. AL flywheel for the lose for my application

I wouldn't purchase a 8lbs flywheel...IMO that is just way tooo light. I have a 12lbs and get my car back today so we will see how I like it.

 

I'm currently using a prostreet 12lb chromoly flywheel. It looks just like the ACT streetlite, but it was quite a bit less expensive. I have had it for about a year without any issues.

IMO you should be driveing a automatic

 

I have been driving my lude with the ACT streetlite 12lb wheel for a few days. First impression, maybe I should have gone with the ACT 8lb. I say that because the engine does spin up faster(I also removed the ps pump) but it is not a BIG difference. Maybe the 8lb would be a BIG difference. I was torn over the ACT vs Fidanza but the full chomoly plate should not warp as easily as the aluminum plate with steel wear face. That is what I think and why I went with the ACT. I also installed an Exedy stg1 clutch. I think it will be just fine for now but do plan on putting the lighter ACT flywheel in on the next clutch change. Wj
