I'm going to be spraying this weekend w/ my prelude. jdm h22a (bout 60k miles) compression test checked out within 10 of eachother.... no burning oil... runs very well! I ran 14.4 at 100 b4. Its a zex dry kit... 55 shot. Colder spark plugs, slightly retarded timing, p28 w/ uberdata (just tuned for i/h/e from j-ktuning), Fuel pressure gauge...


so i'm just wondering what other prevenatives, precautions i should take? couple gallons of 100 octane? What gear pull should i do first? any other help is appreciaited

not only that but the 4an line has to be facing down. After you use a few pounds you wont be picking up liquid nitrous from inside the tank if you leave it like that.

 

Yup Yup... Both of the guys above me are correct about your set up... I had the "SQEEZE" on my 91 DA for 2 1/2 years with a dry 60 shot and a ITR fuel pump...I think the key to mines lasting so long was that the jet for the N20 was pretty fardown right behind the filter... Why did I do mines like that...
This is why... If you have the nozzle right up close to the throttle body the amount of pressure that it comes out at, it will head straight to the back of your intake manifold and hit mainly cylinders 1 and 2... When mines was way far away it slowed down the velocity of the spray and had time to fill the manifold EQUALLY and go into all the cylinders by vaccum from the intake itself and not by the pressure from the nozzle...

 

did you read in the install manual how to mount the bottle? cause that aint gonna work so well. also you shouldnt need to pull timing for the 55 shot unless your tune has it advanced past stock. you may also want to invest in a bottle heater. and nos makes a direct port plate that goes in where your intake manifold seperates. works very well. my boy used to have it on his 97 sh, 125 shot.

 

make sure the bottle warm. after you fix how it is mounted, get a bottle warmer

i hope that was a dry shot. That wouldnt be a good idea for the wet system
