Default HELP!!!!! b16 cams or cam gears problems.

hey guys, i have a mildly built b16. it has wiseco 11.5:1 pistons, honda rods worked over to run the pistongs, balanced crank, and so forth, the head is p&p, 3 angle valve job buddy club spec3+ cams, supertech valve springs and retainers, jg dynamics cam gears, password carbon intake, aebs intake manifold, professional products throttlebody, hytech header, and so forth and so on. well with that out of the way, 2 weeks ago i was in atlanta at nopi, on sunday morning, we were on the way back to the show and come to a car turning, i was at idle and somehow my timing belt breaks, sucks i know. well we towed it back to the hotel and spent the rest of the day finding tools and a timing belt. we replace it and she cranks up fine, runs fine sounds fine, doesnt sound like i bent a valve. well before this the timing belt was a little on the tight side, well we replaced it and it seems fine tight wise, not as tight as before, car runs fine, feels as good as before. well here it whats really really bothering me, when i crank the car and let it idle, my cam gears look like they are wobbling or moving back and forth or up and down like something may be warped or bent. this is really bothering me cause i put a lot of time and money into this motor and car. please if anybody as any ideas or knows whats wrong please tell me, im scared to drive the car now. if need be i can post a video of whats going on. did i bend something? cam gears out of round or warped? cam journals messed up from being too tight? what could it be?

it's kind of hard to tell from the video...Did you reuse an old timing belt? or did you just tighten the belt too much and snaped it? My best bet would tear down the motor and check the head/valves.

I really don't see the wobble. Are you saying they wobble because the washers behind the cam bolt is wobbling or going up and down? That washer will alway go up and down because since its smaller than the recess it fits into its never centered exactly righ--but it has nothing to do with reliability or performance.

is there anyway to wollow out the back of a cam gear? i know they are tight and have not come loose. is there a way to bend a cam or warp cam journals?
