CAR: 91 Civic DX hatchback, teal

Hey guys, search is down right now and I need some help. I've been looking for the bumper trim / upper skirt piece. The body color matched metal piece that sits between the bumper and the hood/headlights. Is there an official name for it?



Item #1 is called "SKIRT, FR. (UPPER) and lists for $87

Is this the "street name" of this piece?

It's been hard trying to ask for the piece at junkyards!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

hey buddy go to this website and u will find it there for about 30bucks http://www.partstrain.com it is called a front bumber filler

 

no we just call it a front filler piece

and you will never find one in a junkyard! I looked forever! People trash them to get the headlights out, bumper off, whatever they are always smashed!

i always find these in the junk yards where i live

thanks! good stuff on there. have you used the website? the prices are great, just wondering how good fitment and quality is.

the junkyards around here don't have any hoods available, let alone the filler piece.

I found one last week. if i would have known i would have gotten it next time i go ill let you guys know. Where I go there is a few Si's and alot of base models.

Oh and People in the So Cal Riverside area never goto the Pick-a-part in Riverside off of the 60. When I used to go there they would a have a few Si's and they were clean too with all the good parts. I went there a few weeks ago and I saw an 91 Si hatch pull up and they sold the car to them. I wanted parts from it so I talked to the owner seeing if I could get parts from it now. He told me no I can't get parts from it because he gives Honda Import first dibs on parts and anything else they don't sell he sells for high dollar cuz its an SI. He said anything Si and GSR he buys right up and puts it aside for them. That is gay, I was so pissed off at him I told him off. The guy was an idiot too, he told me that 91 Si CRX seats will bolt right up in my 91 Si Hatch and he and his employee didnt know what a seat pan was.
