yeah! I just got a EJ! :) [and found a little steering problem]
1999, 4 door, stick, white.
I am actually liking the stock suspension and probably will not lower it as early as expected. I will wait till the shocks are shot. (are there any way to kill them quicker? :evil
)
anyways, I found a little problem... at freeway speed (50mph>
, as long as I am on the accelerater, I feel comfortable changing lanes (or steering in general). But when I let go of the gas and try to steer, I feel like the car is going to lose control (an understeer feeling perhaps). Why is that? Tires are new but stocks (185/65/14).

any pull when you let go of the wheel? vibration? sounds more like your alignment is out of whack.

no... not really. meanwhile, there is a bit of "dead zone" when the steering wheel is at top dead center. And there's a little vibration on the steering wheel.
