Any tips on how to remove the round shift bushing?
Not liking the way my aftermarket shift bushings feel so I wanna take it out. Im referring to the one that is at the end of the shift linkage, bolted to the tranny housing, not the one by the shifter. I remember taking out the stock one and it was a bitch, but this one is even more stiff. Any idea how to get it out besides cutting it?
nevermind...WD40 FTW
just lifted up the lip of the bushing, got some WD in there, jammed a screwdriver under the lip and pryed that bitch thru the hole.
next up, valve adjustment and oil change. fun day.
