Ok this weekend i have to do some work on my ls. Do to money issues I can't do what I really want.

well the first thing is My exhaust pipe broke from the flange on the cat. I just picked up a new pipe with gaskets and all. I know I wish I could buy a CAT BACK of some type. What is the best way to take off my rusted *** bolts. DW dosn't work as fast or much. I mean this **** is all F.. up

the second is my ac went and makes a whisle noise now. I was told to "cut the belt and JUST DON"T RUN AC> MORE HORSE POWER." I was thought you need to do more than this. like pull the whole thing out. If so does any one know wich would be better cause cutting th ebelt sounds easy.

Third is some guys gave me a quick how to on taking my cruise control out. Thanks to atg1290 and slomofo. So basically just wanna check to see if that's it.

The button pops out, try to pry a small screw driver in there and it'll come out.
Under the hood, all you have to do is remove the cruise control unit, unplug it, take the cable off of your throttle body and from behind your gas pedal, then you're all done.

well that's pretty much it. if ya can let me know if im on the rite path this would help me out this sat alot. well thanks guys

 

If your ac belt is whistling, have you tried tightening the belt? If the belt is loose, it'll squeal.


Use and air ratchet on your exhaust bolts, they'll most likely break off and then you can go pick up a new nut/bolt and salvage the springs off of your old setup.
