Clutch Issues: Possible Bad Cylinder?
Engine and clutch/flywheel are only about 2,000 miles old and the slave cylinder was replaced when the engine was replaced. Pedal started to feel soft so I replaced the master as well. After a couple days, the pedal keeps getting worse. I have to double clutch to have any chance of acceleration....
Pretty sure it is not the clutch since it grabs great still in evey gear. gotta be one of the cylinders.....right? no fluid is leaking anywhere (reservoir stays full) and system has been bled. Any way to check the cylinders without just replacing them?

alright...will start there....least it is the cheapest way to start foguring out what the heck is going on with the clutch.
am out of town all weekend but will report in middle of next week when I can get the part and change it out.

ok, both cylinders are fine and there is clean fluid that does not seem to be leaking anywhere. Reservoir still as full as it was 3 weeks ago. so, looks like I have to drop the tranny to take a look at the clutch.....My theory is that the flywheel and/or clutch is loose. Lots of vibration at idle that goes away when pushing in the clutch pedal. Also vibration in every gear during accelration between 2000-3500 rpm that starts to go away as the rpm's increase....
