While driving awhile ago my clutch pedal lost all pressure. it also starts when pedal is against floor but not when raised off. Does this sound to be clutch or slave cylinder related? Im not very familiar with these cars. Any input is appreciated!

First thing, crawl under your dash and look at the top of the clutch pedal where the clutch attaches to the master cylinder rod. If there is a mess of goop and brake fluid, then the seal has ruptured and you need to replace your master cylinder. Easy fix. If there appears to be nothing wrong, check to see if there is a noticable leak coming from the boot of the slave cylinder. If there is, replace it. Another easy fix. Good news, right?

The car should never start unless the clutch is all the way down. There is a clutch safety switch that is depressed when the clutch is all the way down that allows the car to start. This is to prevent the car from being started while the clutch is disengaged and transmission is in gear.

there are 2 slave cylinders also arent there? one on the firewall and one by the tranny?

No. Master cylinder on the firewall, slave cylinder on the tranny.

so should io try the master cylinder or slave cylinder first? again, help is much appreciated

my slave was leaking it was very obvious, just look and see where your leak is coming from...
