Default Shifter rod problems ( CBR 600 RR 2006)

so i have laid my bike down on the left side, it appeared to be just body damage...

so 3 days after the accident im riding home and shift up into 3rd and when i pull my foot out from under my shifter it just free falls.... swining freely

it looks simple enough to fix but i have no idea how...

any help would greatly appreciated

thanks

Where in this picture is it broken?

Is it any of the rods, or bolts? Only part I'd think would be complicated is if you stripped any of the teeth.

ouch, only 2 posts and this is one of them?
Depends on what's wrong with the linkage. Is it literally broken or just unthreaded? Is it bent in any way? We need pictures!!

i cant tell if its stripped out or just completly missing, its the bottom of penguin picture where i shift at, the rod and the shifter are both loose, but still firmly attached at the top

you might just want to replace the entire shift linkage to save you some headache. See if you can find spare parts on ebay or on 600rr.net for someone parting our their RR.

definitely post up the pics though, that will help a lot.
