Im tring to wire in a prelude obd1 distributor into my 99 prelude.I wanted to try to change the distributor to obd1 couse when I went to a p28 ecu it started throwing code 22 and the car runs like ****.I know everyone says obd2 distributor works with the p28 but I tried everything and its still happening. Can anyone help?I gotta get this car on the road and I have very little time to troubleshoot(thanx to my 3 month old son).
Ive been into this car thing for a few years but im getting to a point where I have very limited time and money, your help will be much appriciated, thanx.

You have to convert the CKP and CYP sensors to the obd1 dizzy.
Stay obd2 dizzy and run the ecu conversion harness if you want to run an obd1 p28 ecu.

I have run into a bunch of people locally that say you need to convert to an OBD1 distributior to run an OBD1 ECU and Crome (obviously with a conversion harness as well).
My car did both Hondata and Crome just fine though, so it has left me confused about the whole thing.

You do not need an obd2 distributor to run an obd1 ecu. You simply need the obd2-obd1 conversion harness for the ecu. End of story. Whoever supplied you with your information is wrong.
Can I match the wires on the obd1 dizzy to the wires that plug into the obd2 distributor?Olso how do the wires on from the ckp and cyp sensors wire into the distributor?
I cant find anything on the web as far as wiring the obd1 prelude dizzy,im tring to identify the wires so I could wire it into the existing harness

Those two extra wires ...do they go to the crank sensor...lmk! anyone
