Default JDM B162 Knock Sensor Question>>????

since i have a 93 coupe ex and have to hard wire in the third wire for the knock sensor. How do i exactly do that and where do i hard wire it to on the ecu?? Thanks.

if you chip your p28 to run it, you dont need knock.

True. Though will a B16a work full well with an 92-95 Si fuel map?

I say chip a P28 with a B16a fuel map - from there the tuner can remove the knock sensor so you won't throw a CEL.

P28 does not have knock.

p30 does.

Yeah but would the P28 work in a 99-00Si (B16a) motor? The fuel maps would be wayyyy different, no?

You will have to have it chipped, I have ran a b16 on a p28 to get it to the shop, but that is it. There are a number of people that sell chipped p28s for a good price.

Oh yeah, chipped a P28 can be anything, I thought he meant like..P28 stock...I didn't think the fuel maps would match up too well O.o

Yea it will start up and run, but it will run like ****, i wouldn't do and wot pulls or anything of that sort.

i ran my b16 on my stock p28 for about 6 months before i could get it chipped. no problems.
