what other wires need to be hardwired as well on the p28 with a b16a
well why don't you give us some more info such as the year and model (CX/DX/Si/etc) of your car. This info is needed to further help you.
..and for the record, if you took the programmed eprom chip out of your P28 ecu and applied it to a P30 ecu, it would run exactly the same as it would on the P28 ecu (w/the chip on it). I duno why people keep thinking a genuine DOHC VTEC ecu, chipped, would run better than a P28 if using the same program (mugen for insance)....its the same damn hardware and programming!
Here's a simple analogy:
PS2 game system = OBD1 VTEC ECU (sohc or dohc)
PS2 game = OBD1 'race' program
you can use any PS2 game on any version/model PS2 game system.

ok thanks..
here's all the info you need regarding wire up vtec for your 93 DA/integra:
...the knock sensor is optional to wire up, thing is if you ever use a stock genuine DOHC VTEC ecu, its going to look for the KS and will throw a check engine light if one isn't wired up....however vtec will still work.
