Default Help getting my exhaust back to semi stock.

1992 Honda Civic Si
Right now I still have the exhaust that was on my car when I bought it. Its 2.25" piping all the way back. The exhaust sounds fartsy at times unless I'm slamming it and I think the problem lies in the muffler. What options do I have in choosing a different muffler. I want something that looks somewhat stock but sounds really good. Any help? Thanks.

My buddy is running the world sport 2 in his ls, souds really good and looks stock except for the bigger tip, i just put on my obx twin loop muffler and i love it, has a small 3in tip and is really quiet. you cant even hear it at idle

i have a dc sports on my sedan, has a real deep tone and is semi-quiet. its an oval muffler so looks semi-stock. its polished though and has a 'bigger' tip on it (kinda looks like a stock muffler with a autozone tip on it). i plan on painting it flat back. but it sounds nice.

I have a stock muffler box, but plus sized my piping into and out of it. sounds really deep and good, and is not loud unless i'm on it. I would recommend that set up to anyone with a welder and a little extra time.

Use the same piping, and invest in an ES oval, or a magnaflow muffler. It you don't have access to a welder, take it ot a muffle shop and have them cut off the existing muffler and weld the new one on. That's the inexpensive way.

You can find an ES oval or Magnaflow on here. Just search it. Even if no one here has one, there will be a thread on where to find it. You can get them almost anywhere.
