Default engine shut off at light!

so i was at a light last night and the car had been runnig fine. No impending warning of trouble or anything and then in the blink of an eye the oil light and cel come on at the same time and the car shuts off immediately. I got the car pushed to the side. I checked the dip stick and the oil is low but when i go to turn the car on the fuel pump wont prime. I usually hear it very well. So i took the backseat out to make sure I could hear it and nothing. The car cranks over like a champ but doesnt start. any suggestions?

well obviously you're not getting fuel. Chances are there isn't a code. I'd begin by checking fuses obviosly and then checking the PGM-FI main relay. After that i'd check to make sure the pcm has powe and ground and is functioning properly. Then test the fuel pump, and it's wiring and go from there.

Find the source of the short, so it doesn't happen again!
