Distributor ignition sequence

Default Distributor ignition sequence

Can someone help me verify this. i saw on the service manual it loosk like this , but on my car it is the opposite. can someone tell me which one is the correct one?

The picture is right and your car is alright. You are just a little mixed up.First of all the number one cylinder is the one closest to the timing belt and the number four is what you are calling #1. That would make the diagram right.

thanks for clearning that up . then i have more confusion my car sound is sputtering after i took off the dist cap and put it back on.....
