i have a 92 Integra its an auto, for some reason the s3 light has been blinking, when it does the car wont start, and if it does start its as if it was stuck in 3ed gear. any one have an idea? a person who had hte same problem said take out the alt. fuse and put it in after 10sec should clear it but it didnt help. talked to a few others some said it might be a lock up solenoid, then a acura machanic said it might be a fuel relay. anyone have any clu how to trouble shoot it to see if it is or isnt a lock up or a fuel relay? ne info will help thanks.

check your main relay. bad solder. its a black box thing. about 2" x 2" says "main relay" on it. should be in the driver side footwell area. above main fuse box. (with the ignition off and battery disconnected)find it, disconnect it, pry it open, very carefully drip a small drop of solder on each existing solder point, making sure not to allow any of the connections to touch each other. let it cool off, close it back up, reconnect the wiring connections, and hopefully it will fire right up.

if not, then youve got tranny probs. check that out. and then SEARCH
