Idle problem with my integra JDM Type R engine...
I swaped in a JDM 98 spec Type R engine in my 01 Integra GSR, with JDM cat, JDM Type R stock exhaust, JDM p73 ECU, the only aftermarket part is the 255 walbore fuel pump, however, I dont' know why my battery went bad after the swap, I had to charge it up for the first few starts. Alternator works thought, the battery is fine now but feel like its not enough battery voltage, the Main story is, when the car is moving, the idle will stay at around 1500 to 2000 rpm, but when the car is in a full stop it will go back to 750-900 rpm, do you guys know why, it that how the JDM engine works, buy my friend has the exact engine and it does not do the same thing. Hele please
anyone, by the way, on my fuel pressure gauge, its running 53-55 psi on the fuel filter, which i think its running rich, will running rich mess up my motor in a long run?
i know off gera rolling to a stop my engine will be a little over 1000 then when i come to a full stop it will fall to 750-850 but 1500-2000 sounds a little high to me. Maybe a vac problem.
Yeah you have to be throwing black soot all over thepalce with that. Get the fpr adjusted asap that very well may fix it.
I also have the sames wap except my teg is a 00.
