I was wondering what stock mounts from my 97 Civic with a SOHC engine can be use when making a B-series swap? I'm going to start the swap today but haven't purchase any mounts yet, so I was wondering which stock mounts I can use. I would really appreciated if someone could help me out. THANKS!!

 

Stock mounts, 99-00 SI brackets.

 

u cant use any stock mounts from the sohc i dont think! just need 99-00 si mounts!

O IC........has anyone tried using the stock mounts before to see if they fit? Or are you just suggesting they don't fit? Don't mean this in a bad way just wondering to see if it has already been tried.

So then I just buy the 99-00 brackets? Which ones do I need?

you need the rear tranny bracket.. it's shaped like a T. You also need the bracket on the driver side that bolts to where your timing cover is. Both from an SI. You also need the front two torque mounts from a teg or si.

No offense but do you 2 know the difference between a mount and a bracket?
