mounts to use in b-series swap

Default mounts to use in b-series swap

im going to put a b16a2 into my 99 hatch back. people are tellin gme different things

a. i can use the SI mounts that came with the motor
b. i have to use integra mounts, at least the rear one.


can anyone clarify this for me?

i used a si rear bracket n my other mounts were gud to use.. i swapd my 97 civic dx

keep the answers coming. ill be doin the swap in 2 weeks. so i need to know if i need to look for other mounts.

Think of it this way. The engine came out of a 99-00 civic. You drive a 99 civic. The engine bay's are the same. Thus meaning you use the CIVIC mounts to bolt the CIVIC motor into your CIVIC. integra mounts are only used in 92-95 civics. Good luck on the swap and i reccomend you do more research before even attempting this.

i was thinking the exact same thing, but as of right now im about to buy a motor from a shop or from a person, the shop says that i need integra mounts. so i kinda got confused.

im not doing the swap myself. so no worries
nice hatch btw.

I wouldnt use stock ones if you can afford to buy some aftermarket ones. Get some hasport bseries ek mounts. Best 400 you'll spend trust me. Shitty mounts can really mess up a launch.

hold on. I am also doing this swap in a few weeks and you are saying that i can use the ones off the D-series. all except the Rear, and i think the driver side mount. I don't know help me too.
