cooling problem!!
Im having a bit of problems with the cooling system on my civic. It keeps overheating and the coolant doesnt seem to be able to circulate through the water jackets. I have replaced the thermostat and water pump but that didn's solve the problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
How do you know for sure its not reaching the jackets?
Try a pressure test, I had a cooling problem that was 2-fold.
Thermostat popped and stuck closed, no prob, re n re a new one, and luckly i pressure tested it cause i had a pinhole leak in the rad that was undetectable untill pressure built in the system, and the leak was small enough to go undetected while idleling, but large enough to leak enough coolant while driving to cause cooling probs.
If you dont have a pressure tester a shop should do it for like $20 or even free if they think they'll get the job!!

I replaced the thermostat and water pump already. I think the coolant isnt reaching the water jackets because it took off the upper radiator hose and started up the motor to see if coolant would spill out. However nothing comes out of the top hose when the motor is running..
