Most SI's came with A/C, but a previous owner may have taken it off. If you have the A/C button, thent he car had it before and you would need to find out what was taken off.

If it never came with A/C then it doesn't have any A/C componets, but your in luck. Honda sells the complete A/C kit for about $800. It includes everything. It is a really good deal considering a compressor and evaporator alone cost that much.

Let me correct this for you the 92-95 civic ac was a dealer installed option even in the si they did not come with factory ac. Also the car is already wired for the ac. The switch is behind a cover plate on the climate controls just pop the cover off on the far right of the climate controls and install the button cover. the switch is already there. You can try and find a unit from the junk yard or if a dealer still has one they were around $1000 option when the car was new.If you opt for the junk yard you will need the condenser, evaporator all the hard lines, the moisture canister, the fan assembly with relays and there wiring harness, tensioner pulley and its bracket, the ac compressor, and the ac button cover from the climate control.I think that's it if I missed anything fell free to add it to the list.

You didn't correct anything. If the switch is already installed in the dash, then obviously the car had A/C. If it was still behind the dash, then it never had the A/C installed.

Actually most non-CX civics came with A/C. It wasn't an option as you think. It was already installed when the car was on the lot and included in the sticker price. Only certain states didn't have the A/C installed, like in the colder climate states.

Just buy the kit from slhondaparts.com. it is $817 and includes everything you need. Don't screw with junkyard crap.
