I thought the fins were supposed to be really thin and bend easily just like a radiator.

Lol, I was just searching my old SN and found out that I made this exact same thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1248431

The intercooler I eventually bought (in the pictures) is an Xo2. But from what I hear, Boostcoolers are awesome too. Boostcoolers is more expensive though because they use the Spearco Core.

The xo2 guy is "Seller622". Here are his current intercooler listings: http://search.ebay.com/search/...fgtp=

I've also heard some good things about the SSAC intercoolers: http://motors.search.ebay.com/...fgtp=

those arent as nice, look at the fins on that bar and plate, there arent any, its just a metal plate with holes punched in it, an intercooler that has actual fins will have much greater surface area...

the holes are there to increase its surface area, but if it was a good intercooler it would have fins inside and the surface area to dissipate the heat would be much greater...

drill a hole in the bumper support and put a threaded bolt through it, its not rocket science

I bought mine from ebay seller, "just intercoolers."

Hes got the option to submit an offer on all his items.
I picked up a 28x3.5x8" intercooler, bar and plate for $115.

I left my boost settings @16psi with the 6" JRC intercooler, with nothing done but the new intercooler it was now hitting 19psi.

My old school JRC intercooler looked so pathetic... the core was maybe 2" thick? if that.

The complexity of an intercooler is fairly low which actually makes ebay intercoolers a fairly good deal. The one and only thing I bought for my car and have zero preassure drop and the quality looks great!
