I never said that. Does spoon even make these H bars?

I would go with an actually known company to make these (or that makes roll cages that could fab one up) with a warrenty over ebay which is usually just for "show"

I've thought about picking one of those up on more than one occasion, I just haven't been able to decide if it would make much difference name brand or not.

Somebody on here did a review of that bar just a few weeks ago. Search for Megan h brace or **** like that. It had quite a few pages.

I have one of those on my car except it's red (don't think it really matters). It can be a little work coaxing it on and getting everything to line up and get everything tight but I did notice it tighten up the front end a little. I don't know if it eliminates wheel hop but it'll certainly protect the lower parts of your engine and exhaust! Mine's taken a few good dings from the road already and my car's only lowered about 1.4". It doesn't hang low or anything but it will hit the road before the expensive stuff does. For the price you can't really go wrong with it.

that bar isnt worth anyone's time. major dremelling is needed to make the H part fit the main crossmember. your better off getting a front lower tie bar. by the way those H bars are manufactured by megan racing a taiwanese company based in walnut.

I had a similar one a while back and threw it away after a month. The clearance on it is so low plus its located right around the front wheels that I end up scrapping the ground on steep/inclined entrances to gas stations and such. IMHO it is crap.

BTW. The construction is cheap. The bar ends are crimped at the end rather than cut to the shape of the bar it is welded on.

I ordered one and it did not clear my kamikaze header. I ended up selling it to a friend.

Yeah, I'd get one from like Cusco. Don't buy the eBay front-lower engine brace. It's crap. Same with the front-lower engine tie-bar. You need to make sure you don't have a lowered car. You need to make sure you don't have a DOHC. You need to make sure you don't have 2.5" collector & piping. It makes the ugliest noise when it's hitting on the ground, the tranny, and when you steer. It doesn't feel right at all.

I'll probably give it a shot to see how it fairs. My car isn't lowered too much (2"), and I almost never have to go on driveways that have an incline, so for $40.00 it seems like it's worth it to me.....
