Default well i blew a headgasket, pulled it off and this is what i found, also wondering whp limits of 85mm

well i had the car at the track a few weeks ago, noticed the water temp was going up after every run, checked the overflow and it was full, blown headgasket, simple fix, has happened before. well the car sits for about a week and i finally pull the head off and find this in cyl #2:
it looks as though the water wetter has alkaline in it and possibly embedded itself in the sleeve, these are AEBS sleeves. do you think i can bore this .5mm or 1mm over and get away with it? current bore is 84mm, i was wondering what the whp limits are on a boosted 85mm block w. AEBS sleeves. any help would be greatly appreciated

84.5 and call it a day. Although you may be able to get away with a standard hone and re ring it

I'd try to go to 84.5mm, but if it didn't do the job, I wouldn't think twice about going to 85mm. If/when it blows at 85mm, you can sell it to an NA guy

dont know...burning coolant?....but by looking at the other two cylinders i would say you have some tuning issues also.

have the bores measured. you might get away with a hone job and new pistons/rings. or else 85.4mm
