Default 105300 cam in my Y8 are teh valve specs still teh same?

I just did a valve adjustment on my y8 head with the zex "stage 3" came. After it was done valve tapping was way louder.

are teh specs the same with oem vs aftermarket cams?

lol DIFFERENT specs are the whole reason they make aftermarket cams, if your "stage 3" cam had the same specs as a stock cam how it make more power?

usually with higher stage cams you need valve jobs and springs/retainers.

He is referring to the valve adjustment specs.

For that cam, I am not sure of the exact specs. Contact Zex, and please tell me that you have an upgraded valvetrain.

yes i have upgraded valve train.

isky retainers, isky springs, rev hard valves, port and polish, 3 angle valve job.

so the valve adjustment specs are the same?

No. For the 100300 it should be tighter than with the stock or 100100 (or whatever their stage 1 for Y8s is).

I don't know what the specs are, but I know for a Z6 the 59100 uses the stock specs, but the 59300 uses tighter specs.
