Default IAB Sensor on 01 GSR engine in 99 Si

I have a 01 GSR swap ( stock everything ) in my 99 SI . I ran the line directly to the ECU ( OBD1 GSR w/ Step Down Harness ) A17 ( Pin # 9 on the top row ). For some reason I can't get the Damm thing to work. Is there any difference bewteen the OBD1 & OBD2 IAB sensor? All the vac lines are connected, I just removed it from my 00 GSR and swaped it into my 99 SI. No CEL's, Virgin p72 Ecu.

they are different. the wires are reversed. obd1 gsr sends a negative the iab while one side is connected to positive already. On obd2, the ecu sends a positive signal to the iab while the other side is connected to negative already.

fix the wiring and it should work

so how would he fix that? connect the pos of the solenoid to a power source, while the other wire grounds into the ecu? I have an obd2 gsr in my car right now, and I'm thinking about converting to obd1, so I will need to fix this as well for my IABs
