A few pro blems
So i recently boosted my b16, finally got a boostguage and wastegate etc are working fine. I have been unable to tune the car yet and as a result the basemap has me running extra rich. I unfortuantely dont have an A/F guage so i cant be more specific about my fuel curve. But I know im running rich; getting like 15 mpg sometimes closer to 10
.. also i was working on the car yesterday and it was idling and i noticed black chunks of **** in a spray pattern on the ground behind my tailpipe... not to mention the black cloud of smoke that follows me =[
While driving I dont hit it cuz im not tuned.. but when i try and drive above 3krpm the car hesitates like crazy.. starts to shake, and i often have to downshift to bypass the 2-4k rpm range. I thought itw as because my plugs were fouled.. which they were but i replaced them.
Running too rich = engine struggling maybe
drop in fuel pressure =?
So my real questino is.. if i put an aem fpr on would i be pumping more gas into the engine? or would it still be restricted by the ecu (hondata s200).
