Black Smoke???
Is it Normal for black smoke to come out when the car is boosting? I notice it today when i was following my wife when she was in my car. And what type of smoke is it? TIA

Yep, definitely running rich. That's not a bad thing at all. If you want to take a little of that richness away you can get a different disc for the fuel pressure riser, or get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Richness just pretty much equates to slight power loss, but on the safe side.

The MF2 is known to to make the system run a bit rich. How badly are you trailing smoke? If its just puffing in between shifts and at hard boosting, I wouldn't worry about it too much....if its a freakin chimney on wheels, then maybe some other tuning is necessary..

Running rich is not a good thing, when it washes the oil off your cylinder walls, and scuffing starts to happen. It happened to mine, back when I was running rich.....

NA cars even puff black smoke between shifts (no big deal) If youre kickin up smoke only at heavy boosting, the I think youre fine....I would worry only if th smoke was blue or white...or if you were smoking at idle...
