Every time I put gas in my 2000 SiR it take forever to start after. I have a 255 pump in it. Any ideas?
sounds like the pressure isnt there... what happens if you turn the key and wait for the pump to prime (like wait 5-6 secs) then try to start it?

new fuel filter, and i have ryed to prime it several times, its driving me nuts.
try opening ur fuel door and taking the gas cap off
get some1 to turn the switch on and listen for the pump 2 turn on
if no sound then
your connection to your fp could be bad
or the fuel pump is going out
i had the same prob with my eg 4dr
turned out to be a bad connection b/t the ecu and fp

How the hell does that post help? That's an A/F Ratio guage...
He doesn't need an A/F ratio guage, he needs more pressure for whatever reason.
The pump is turning on or it wouldn' t be driving, so what's the possible corprits:
- clogged fuel filter (he said he changed it)
- FPR is fucked up (possible)
- fuel rail went...bad (unlikely)
- clogged injectors (still unlikely, or it'd be breaking up)
- evap purge solenoid (maybe..)
What else is there? I'm sure I'm leaving some **** out
Those are what I'd check first though...

Its the JDM ***** t-Shirt that JHPUSA.com sells
And thanks for the help on the fuel pump issue. When I get my new motor in I will try the ideas. I got the pump from my firends DC2 and it didn't have any problems in it.
