Default Code 22, Help please?

I have a problem with my car, Driving on the highway, the CEL light came on, I turned the car off then on and the light went off and stayed off. I was concerned about it and checked to see if I got any codes. Got code # 22 two long blinks and 2 short blinks. Now I was told the code os for the Vtec sensor, So I swapped out sensors, reset the ECU, and I still get code 22, WTF???

code 22 is ur vtec pressure sensor as you said, but maybe it is a wiring issue like the ground is no good or the wire to the ECU got damaged somewhere.

I would try running a new wire to the ECU and a new ground and see what that does.

ok, the vtec pressure sensor is the bottom one with a green clip with 2 wires, or the top one with 1 wire?
I traced all the wires they look fine, mabey ill cut the ground and re-ground it to a better spot..
Thing that is weird, I DON'T get CEL, but when I check for codes, it throws 22.

ok, so I spliced in another wire into the black wire on the pressure sensor, and grounded it directly to the battery, reset ecu 2 times, I still DON'T get CEL, but when check for codes I get 22.

Even though I don't get CEL, but the code is still there, Will Vtec work? How do I tell if Vtec works?

get on the freeway and slam the gas pedal to the floor till you get to whatever rpm u vtec is supposed to engage and you should hear the engine's tone change. mine engages at like high 5000's. or at least that is when I hear the difference.
