Default Any ideas/suggestions as to why i keep getting code 22??

Just did a ITR swap into my friends 93 dx coupe, wired everything up as usual, used a kenji reprogrammed p28. Installed the pin into the d6 slot and closed the plug back up, install knock and VTEC wires as well. Fire it up and 5 seconds later the damn CEL comes up, check it, its code 22. thats the VTEC oil pressure switch. Swapped sensors out just to double check, reset ECU and still throws that damn code. Its connected properly from sensor to ECU and i have no idea why i get this code, also no VTEC as well, but that is due to the CEL. this ECU has ran practically the same car, but with a GSR swap 100% perfect and threw no codes prior.
Anyone have some advice? thanks

Did you drop in a US or JDM ITR engine?

If its a JDM ITR engine, it will NOT have a VTPS sensor (green plug on VT solenoid), on the VTEC solenoid.

If this is the case, you'll need to cut + splice the VTPS positive wire into the single VT solenoid wire, then take the VTPS ground wire and ground/mount it to the body of the VTEC solenoid somewhere, or somewhere on the head. If you do this trick, VTEC will work.

problem solved, after a 14hr work day on the car, i friggin had the knock and oil pressure wires mixed up, seeing how that was the last thing i did. when i looked at it the next day after a great nights sleep, i was like, WTF!! it all worked out, no more CEL, VTEC is on and pulling to 9,000 RPM!
