Default wide open throttle symptoms, what could it be ?

I still haven't figured out this problem yet, ever since i installed my edelbrock kit i've always had this problem, whenever i reach wot, the car stumps and isnt making power, so i cant reach peak boost, so i'm always stuck tryin to keep the throttle at 75% which wont take me more than 6 psi, i know it could be many things.

I'm just tryin to run a steady 8-9 psi, fuel pump should be good till 200hp, Anyways, you guys tell me

What could be the main causes of this, i hope I can get this figured out like that i could get it off my mind, thanks !

What engine management? Sounds to me like you are leaning out..

sorry i forgot to mention, i'm running the edelbrock turbo kit on my d16y8, it uses it's own fuel managment called the link, it's tuned till 10-11 psi, and the tuning is done pretty well said by some tuners, so i wouldnt think that it's leaning out, it happens as soon as i step on it, maybe like a fuel pump or electronics issue

anyways, you guys let me know

Either way, I think you should ditch it and run crome/uberdata. That kind of stuff is known to cause problems.. especially and obviously (if it isn't hooked up right).

I had problems with a turbonetics kit and there engine management.

But I do think I know what system you are talking about.. but it still needs to be tuned. It has a little handheld screen with up and down arrows?

even though it might have to be tuned for 8 psi+, that still isnt the problem because even without a boost controller, running stock settings at 5 psi, the same would still happen at wot so, so guarantee the issue is elsewhere, can anyone point out what you think might be wrong ?

nah i'm not using using a wideband, but anyways, the problem is that the link system is just a basemap, and it just isnt tuned properly for my set-up, although some people are lucky and it works pretty good with their setup, so i will be getting new managment during the wither, maybe hondata or something
