Blowoff valve placement?
there seems to be some debate as to whether you want the BOV closer to the TB, or the turbo.
The concept is that the BOV releases the pressure on throttle close, to keep from surging back to the turbo. So, that being said, I've always felt that closer to the TB is a better layout, since it can react to the throttle close a millisecond sooner...
whether it actually makes any difference is probably immeasurable.
basically, there is probably little to no difference in the placement... whatever works for your setup will do the job.. IMO

I put mine on the hot side and a buddy of mine put his on the cold side, about a foot from the TB, he still gets turbo flutter.

Ive always heard 12-16" from the TB, I just figured you want it as far away from the turbo as possible for the least amount of compressor surge??? Thats where mine is and it seems to work fine. You have to run the vacumn line from the IM anyway and the shorter that is the better
