dont even know where to start.... alright, i was driving home on night and had the pedal to the ground all the way past 100mph, and then i backed off the gas to slow down and when i put my foot back on the gas the car felt like it had lost power.

i did a whole lot of tests to try and diagnos the prob. I ran a compression test and got 180 across all 4. checked timing and was on the dot. replaced the dizzy cap, rotor, igniter and coil. replaced fuel filter. replaced spark pluggs and wires. replaced ecu. Still no change.

it runs and sounds fine on idle and even when im driving like a normal person would, but if i punch it the car dont go nowhere i just hear a loud roar from the intake and when i shift gears at high rpm it backfires. i also checked the spark and all 4 got spark. fuel pressure is fine.

im just lost.............maybe bent valves? bad injectors? bad dizzy?

maybe the clutch has gone out or need a new pressure plate not sure

 

brand new clutch and pressure plate.

 

It sounds like its running rich? But I dont know why it would happen right after you passed 100. Is there a check engine light?

 

if its not missing, and its backfiring, id say running rich too. which would deff. kill power under load. kinda like when you load a fresh basemap on your ecu. the more you push the pedal the more it slows down cause its dumping way to much fuel.

when i checked the spark plugs they were white, so i guess its running lean and also the plugs dont smell of gas at all
