Power Loss
93 Civic Dx.
Riding on the onramp yesterday, and I was trying to merge so I gave it plenty of gas. About amile down the road my car looses power... for like 5 seconds. Meaning even if I press the gas, its almost as if I never pressed it because the car does not pull. It does this 3 times, and then the car is fine. This scenario happened each time I floored the car to get on the highway. Also my car after a while, starts to loose power and sputter no matter what gear I am in. I turn the ignition off, and back on again and it is fine for a while, then it goes back to sputtering with the CEL staying on.
I already have CEL 43. I have replaced 02(Bosch, some say Honda is preferred), Fuel Filter, Dizzy Cap, Fuel Pump.
Only things left are Fuel Pressure Regulator, Injectors, Spark wires.
Also prior to this sputtering staring a few months ago, I just replaced the Spark Plugs with NGK. Would this make a difference and cause my car to sputter after long periods of time.
Thanks for the help folks.
